This telemedicine service is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland and complies with applicable EU legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Directive 2011/24/EU on patients’ rights in cross-border healthcare. Services are delivered in accordance with the Irish Medical Council’s Guide to Professional Conduct and Ethics for Registered Medical Practitioners.
Welcome to our online urgent care service. This guide explains how to use our platform, what to expect during your care, and how to interact respectfully with our team. Please read this carefully before using our services.
1. Service Overview
Our service allows you to consult with an Irish-registered GP online for non-emergency medical issues. You can access:
General medical advice
Prescriptions for suitable conditions
Sick notes and medical certificates (where appropriate)
We do not provide emergency care. If you or someone else is experiencing a life-threatening or urgent medical emergency (e.g. chest pain, breathing difficulties, heavy bleeding, suicidal thoughts), please call 999 or 112 immediately.
2. Who Can Use This Service
You must:
Be 16 years or older, or accompanied by a legal guardian (if a minor and approved by platform terms)
Be physically located in the Republic of Ireland at the time of your consultation
Have access to a stable internet connection and a private space
3. Booking an Appointment
To book:
Register or log into your account.
Choose a consultation time.
Provide accurate medical history and any current symptoms, medication and allergies.
Pay securely online (see our Refund Policy).
You will receive confirmation and instructions via email.
4. Preparing for Your Consultation
To ensure your doctor can assist you effectively:
Be in a quiet, well-lit private space
Have a photo ID ready if requested
Prepare a list of current medications and any recent health updates
Be ready to speak honestly and openly about your symptoms
5. What Happens During the Consultation
You will speak with an Irish-registered GP via secure video.
The GP may ask detailed personal or medical questions to make a diagnosis.
If medically appropriate, you may receive a prescription, sick note, or referral.
6. Prescriptions & Medical Certificates
Prescriptions are sent electronically to your chosen pharmacy. Please make sure you enter the correct address including Eircode
We do not issue prescriptions for controlled substances or medications requiring a physical exam.
Sick notes are provided at the doctor’s discretion and will not exceed safe or legal limits.
We do not provide Social Welfare Certificates or documents requiring physical examination or state verification.
7. Follow-Up and Aftercare
You will receive a summary of your consultation via your secure account.
If advised to seek in-person care, follow up with your regular GP.
If your symptoms worsen, do not delay — seek urgent medical attention.
8. Fees and Receipts
Standard consultation fees apply (see website for current pricing).
You will receive a receipt suitable for insurance or expense reimbursement.

9. Your Conduct and Responsibilities
We expect all patients to:
Treat our staff with respect and courtesy
Provide accurate, complete medical information
Follow the medical advice given by the doctor
Do not misuse prescriptions, share logins, or use the service on behalf of others without authorisation.
Abusive, threatening, or dishonest behaviour will result in service suspension or account termination.
